Colossians 1:3-8
"Christians stand strong when they stand together" -The daily bread
After recent months of happenings in my life, i felt that there are no cordial friend/chums i could find in ministry, in church.
God spoke to me today about chums in ministry; people whoose life interwined with one another as they serve together. A relationship so close, the very deep bond of friendship, a whole new level of trust and camaraderie are forged.
i cant see it now, but i really believe and hope to see it one day, in my friend's lives and in mine.
how amazing would it be when we all are beating the same heartbeat, understand each other thoughts just by a glare, going all out for each other, have that invisible yet strong bond, serving, doing things, spending our lives together etc.
that joyful feeling is as though a whole city is rejoicing and the celebration sounds and cheering were overflowing in our hearts!
i experienced it outside church though, one friendship that is somewhat like the one that is describe by Paul and Epaphras in the passage. I am thinking about my friend G.
Thank you God,
may you build this relationship and other new friendships that is to come stronger and stronger each day and till one day we will all serve you together under the same church, influencing the church to have that ultra deep bonding where everyone supports everyone and it shall be so dynamic that it will allow more friends to experience what we are experiencing that we all can be pillars for each other with you as the cornerstone.
